How To Track Your Flight With A Facebook Messenger Bot

Sponsored

Facebook Messenger bots may sound like a provisional trend and for some they might be little more than a diverse way to get news but these bots decline to be pigeon holed into a single needsoperation. A Facebook Messenger bot can perform just about whatsoever you tell it to do. App in the air is a Facebook Messenger bot that can monitor a flight, give travelling tips such as the accessibility of WiFi at a specific airport, and tell you if some of your carry on items will be removed by the TSA.
Go to App in the Air and click the ‘Message’ button.

A message window should come up with a Get Started button. Tap it and the bot will send you the first three major functions it can execute in the form of actionable buttons. To find out if the airport you are going to take off from or arrive at own WiFi or not, inquire from the bot using the precise and official name of the airport e.g. Does JFK airport own WiFi or Does Heathrow London airport has a WiFI, etc. The responses come in the form of user revisions so often they might tell you if the WiFi is open and if it’s good or bad.

To insert a flight, first ask the bot it’s status or click the “Flight Status” button, it will prompt you to insert it first. It will query for the exact date of departure first in Day or Month format. Next step, it will query for the name of the flight. Flight names are alpha numeric with the alphabetical segment indicating the airline and the number it’s own number. Both needs to be inputted accurately. You can find this info on your ticket or the airline’s website.

App in the air has smartphone apps and also a Facebook app so once it has found your flight, it will query you how you want to monitor it. Choose “Track in Messenger”.

The bot will alert you when there is a modification in the flight’s menu. It will also inform you when it’s about to leave and land amid other things.

The bot is quite amazing for when you need to recall to pick someone up at the airport, track your loved one’s flight, or just be notified when boarding for your flight has been pronounced. It might also be a good concept to have a chat with it when you are packing and know what TSA might object to.
