Google is giving away a free Chrome-cast to YouTube Red Subscribers

Some week ago, many YouTube Red subscribers started receiving  ‘A Thank You’ email from Google. The mail also stated about a free gift for the subscribers as a token of gratitude. This turns out that the ‘Thank You Gift’ is a free Google Chrome-cast for all it’s users. So, all the YouTube subscribers all over the world, always check your emails to see if Google have sent you you the email, that is if you want a free Chrome-cast.

Specifically for YouTube Red subscribers

As per the source, the thank you gift is not a selective give-away by Google. The thank you gift is being distributed to people who signed up earlier for the YouTube Red service. The offer is only applicable for the YouTube Red subscribers, not only for Google Play Music or any other services provided by Google. Even if when you sign up for the Google’s Play Music, the YouTube Red also comes as a part of the package. How ever that does not mean that you have specifically signed up for the YouTube Red service. The free gift offer is for the ones who specifically signed up for Red.

It sure seems pretty partial to give free gifts for the specific subscribers and not to people with Google Play Music subscription. Although that is the only legitimate reason that we could think of. So for this i will urge, all the YouTube subscribers to keep a close check on your emails. The gift is redeemable till June 19.
