A lot of people are already traveling all over the world, flying from one place to the other this time of the year, and some of them might encounter flight delays of and so on. The good news is that Google is working on something that will soon be able to tell you about your flight delay information.
For instance, Google Assistant will be able to predict whether your flight is going to be delayed or not and is just a matter of a few clicks. All you have to do is ask the virtual personal assistant questions like, “Hey Google, is my flight on time?” or “Hey Google, what’s the status of the Ethiopia Airlines flight from Abuja to Dubai?.”
If there’s any delay, Google Assistant will surely let you know. However, if there is no delay but Google Assistant predicts there will be, it will let you know the outcome also.
To make things even more helpful, Google Assistant will eventually give you an alert on your phone if it thinks your flight might be delayed, and even tell you the reason for the delay.
Google makes use of machine learning to make the delay predictions, which it delivers with an 85 percent confidence rate.
Access to predictive flight information via Google Assistant voice commands is currently rolling out to users, while the proactive information in the Assistant app will roll out in the coming weeks.
