How To Easily Check Who Has Viewed Your Snap Story On Snapchat

Sponsored

At the point when WhatsApp introduced the “Seen” feature, individuals were upset. The feature made it impossible to ignore a message or to postpone responding to it without a justifiable reason. Eventually, other messaging apps got on and imitated this feature. They all have an approach to turn it off though unlike Snapchat. Snapchat, for better or for worse, lets you know precisely when someone has seen your updates, messages, or when they’re typing. Snapchat literally sends you a notification when one of your contacts starts typing. There’s no actual way for you to hide your activity on the ap and this holds true also for your Snapchat story. You can check who’s viewed your Snap story on Snapchat very easily.

Check Who Has viewed Your Snap Story

Open Snapchat and swipe left to go to the Stories section. You must already have an active snap story. Tap your story. Be careful so you don’t tap any of the three buttons beside it.

When you tap your story, it will start playing. If you look very closely at this screen, you will see a small arrow at the very bottom. Swipe up on this arrow A panel will slide up showing how many people have viewed your snap story. You can see the total view count at the upper left. Just next to it, you can see the number of times your story has been replayed.

Limitations

Snap stories have a limited lifespan of 24 hours. This said limited lifespan implies your friends/followers/audience on Snapchat can only be able to view your story within that time frame. Likewise, you can only check who’s has viewed your snap story on Snapchat as long as it’s as still available.

Once your story runs its course i.e., the given 24 hours expire you can no longer be able to check how many views you have on your story. If you later add more snaps to your story, you can only be able to check views on that one. Older snaps in a story expire after the given 24 hours. The views you see in a story are for snaps that are still within the 24-hour time frame.

If you actually want to limit who can see your story, you can do that. You can allow everyone who follows you to see your story or limit it to only your friends. Friends are individuals who follow you and who you follow back. If you limit the visibility of your snap story to just your friends, people you don’t follow back won’t have the ability to see your story.

If you also want to share a snap with a limited number of your friends, your story isn’t an ideal way to do it. Rather, it’s better for you to create a group in Snapchat and share your story with the created group.
