How To Successfully Enter Into Recovery Mode On Your iPhone 7 And 7 Plus

As you already know that the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus does not have a headphone jack. This is the most disturbing change made to the newest series of iPhones in terms of hardware. People are very much upset with the recent change and haven’t given much thought to the home button on the new device. It’s no longer a mechanical button you can press on. Take these steps to enter recovery mode;

1. Launch your iTunes app on your PC or Mac
2. Now, connect your iPhone 7 or 7 Plus to your PC or Mac using the lightning cable that comes with it
3. Press and Hold down the Power/Lock button and the Volume Down button at the same time
4. The Apple logo will display on your phone screen. Do not release the buttons yet.
5. Keep both the Home button and Volume Down button pressed until the Apple logo disappears and is replaced with an image showing the Apple lightning cable connecting with iTunes.
6. You are now in the Recovery mode. iTunes will also display a prompt to you on your PC or Mac when you have successfully entered the recovery mode.

It’s also possible that all iPhones that are manufactured in the foreseeable future i.e. in the next two years, will also have the same Home button so this method will work for upcoming devices.
