Apply Prisma Filters To Your Photos From The Desktop

Prisma is an Android and iOS app that allows you apply breathtakingly beautiful filters to your photos. After applying the Prisma filters, the photos come out looking like an art work. The app also boasts of an AI that analyzes and also applies the filters to photos which enable it to create the visually stunning works of art. Prisma has become really fast growing and popular too and I guess you have seen a ton of photos which are created by Prisma users in your Instagram feed. If you wish to use the app from your desktop PC although there isn’t an official app for it yet. You might want to look for a work-around which is actually what we have.

Prisma bot is all you need for this to work, it’s a Telegram bot that will allow you apply Prisma filters to any photo from your desktop PC. You don’t really need to have a Telegram app installed on your system. You can also decide to use the web version of Telegram as well but you will need to have an account on Telegram for that to work. See how the Prisma bot works below.

You will need to visit the link at the end of this post and add the Prisma bot to Telegram. Click on the “Start” button to begin interacting with it. The bot won’t list all the Prisma filters for you and if you decide to upload a photo without selecting which of the filters to apply, the bot will randomly select and apply one.

To select the filters, type and send /filters to the bot. It will list about 1 to 2 filters. Click on “See more filters” to view more filters. Click on the “Use filter” option under any filter to select it and apply.

Next, you need to send Prisma bot a photo. You can select anything and there are no restrictions on the size of image. As you can see in the screenshot below, we gave it a picture of Pikachu. The bot, like the Prisma app, will take a little time for it to apply the filter. Click on the image that the bot generates and save it to your desktop.

Below is the image we got. We did a compression and also resized it for the post but the image quality wasn’t compromised and the filter was successfully applied.

You don’t really need to copy or move all your astonishing HD photos to an Android or iOS device for you to apply a Prisma filter. The bot works pretty cool though we ain’t gonna say no to a quick command for telling it exactly which filter to use. It would be a little more quicker than having to select a filter from list of options.
