Prisma Goes Official For Android Users On Google Play Store

Just after a month of launching it for iOS users, Prisma is now also available to download for Android users. The application’s Al-integrated filters have really become a rage among all selfie lovers, which has made it the talk of the app town. Five days ago, Prisma also made the beta version of its app live for selected Android users through a signup system. But thankfully, the app is now available for free to download on the Google Play Store. Here’s the link to download it.

Prisma is not the usual photo editing app that is used to only enhance skin tone, background, add emoticons, but it also transforms your ordinary picture into an artistic masterwork. Famous artists like Picasso and Munk are the inspiration behind the filters given in Prisma. Ever since its launch on iOS, Android users have been feeling that they are left out of the game. A lot of Android forums also witnessed queries concerning Prisma’s launch timeline on the Play Store

A report by an app research website “AppAnnie”, Prisma had beaten major apps like Instagram and WhatsApp in popularity on the Apple App Store. The app has topped the charts in various countries like Ukraine, Russia, Uzbekistan, Latvia, Estonia, and Moldova.

The Co-Founder Of Prisma Publicly Revealed Some Stats About The App:

  • It’s been downloaded over 10.6 million times on Apple iOS alone
  • The daily downloads maxed out almost 700k
  • And over 400 million photos have been “Prismed”
  • It has over 1.55 million daily active users

And also, the app makers also promised that users will get new features with every new update for the app. We also expect that the said new features could be the introduction of new filters. Also, the app will shed its least favorite filters from time to time. The removal of each least used filters would also enable them to create a way for the debut of new and improved filters for its users.

Similar to Instagram, on Prisma, the users just need to select a photo from the gallery or click to take a new one within the app. After selecting or clicking a photo, the app will present different filters. Users are able to choose their desired filter and share the image on social platforms like Facebook or Instagram.
